organization

kelly's korner on friday featured her show your life series. it was all about organization and sharing tips with each other. i thought i would post a few of mine since i have been on somewhat of an organizational kick lately!

i cleaned out all my bathroom cabinets the other day and threw away a ton of stuff!
~my best tip is to get bins or containers for everything~

i love all my brushes in the little juice glasses

plastic containers from the dollar store make such a difference and keep things in one area.

love these lime green ones.

in my closet i use these sterilite drawers to hold jewelry, flower pins and headbands.
these drawers were previously being used for scrapbook supplies. when i organized things differently in that room, i re-purposed these.

i have this big bulletin board hanging on one wall of my closet and i can hang all my necklaces on it. being able to see what you have makes such a difference!

this is my "junk" drawer in the kitchen. pretty good, huh? again the little bins completely changed this drawer. wish i had a before picture!

this is how i store all my wood mounted stamps now. i love this because i can see what i have.

this is how i keep up with my bible reading. i love to check off things, so this little schedule was perfect.

love this part of my pantry. wish every shelf looked this way. maybe one day!

on the door of the pantry, i keep a calendar with our planned meals. this helps me to know what we've had recently and what i will make on any given day.

these are just some of the things i do. if you could see the rest of my house, you might get a good laugh at me posting an organization post, but i'm trying.
will soon be downloading this planner from motivated moms and keeping up with various chores this way.
if you have any great organizational tips, let me know in the comments.
