so day 2 started out with us ordering room service and eating outside on our patio. we kept trying to order eggs over easy and each day we got something else, but the breakfast was pretty good.
then we went to our first day on the beach. i didn't want to take my camera--i just wanted to enjoy being there, so i didn't take any pictures of the beach this day. (i promise, there will be some tomorrow.)

after our long day at the beach, we decided to try the japanese restaurant. we had heard that you needed to make reservations if you wanted to eat at the hibachi table, but we took our chances and just showed up. (i never thought we were real early eaters, but every night we were almost the first in the restaurant, so we never had a problem with any waiting at all. i guess everyone else was still on round 1 at the bars!)
this was our appetizer. i just loved their presentation of everything and love all those white dishes!

the chef made our rice into heart. how cute!

here we are waiting for our food. (we even tried sake--tasted like lighter fluid. not our thing.)

our guy put on such a good show and was so fast, he's just a blur in my picture!

this, to me, was one of the best meals we had. little pieces of steak, chicken & shrimp with veggies and rice, YUM!

the dessert was wonderful--fried ice cream.

every night we tried to get a picture of us in front of the restaurant we ate at.

then we sat in the lobby and listened to this guy play the sax. he was really good and looked like nate berkus.

relaxing on the comfy couch.

here's a view of the lobby.

here's the lobby when you walk in the front doors.

those are the front doors and this is the reception/check in area.

after we listened to the music for a while, we just walked around, taking pictues.
this is the entrance to one of the other restaurants.

this was just some of the buildings lit up at night.

we always try to take a picture of ourselves and it never comes out!

even though it's blurry, i love this one because i happen to get both our shadows!

day 3 will be tomorrow and you can finally see the beach! thanks for looking~
yea! i was waiting to see day 2 ;) i think a sax player that looks like nate b. is a great combo!!
