mckinlee and her friend amber (and mr. brian) at their medal presentation at gymnastics. mck is a natural gymnast--she loves it and is so good at it(if i do say so myself!) they want to move her into an advanced power tumbling class next year, but she doesn't want to leave amber--so we'll see what happens...

i went to our local nursery to get some flowers today. i'm really loving planting flowers (and keeping them alive!)

we finally were able to go to waco to have our 16th anniversary party. grandaddy is not doing well at all, but it was so nice to have almost our whole family together! that hasn't happened in a long time. we had a wonderful dinner and then came to mama jeanne and grandaddy's for an ice cream sundae party and presents. (more pictures and a post on that to come...)

before we came home, we had an anniversary lunch with chris' mom and dad. yummy food and presents too! (more on that to come as well!)

ReplyDeleteIt was a great saturday to have almost all of us there, it has been toooo long!! I was so happy to see Dandy, you and chris and Mckinlee, my has she grown...the family pic turned out great!!! Reminds me of old times, sure miss that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice weekend we had! We bought flowers today too! replacing some "scraggly" ones around our trees...That McKinlee, she is fantastic! Love the family picture!
