well, not a lot to report today. i haven't been in a very blogging mood and i didn't take many pictures over the weekend.
chris was in san antonio all last week at a client so it was just me and mckinlee. we had a nice week and didn't have to worry about making a big dinner or having it ready at any certain time--that's nice every once in a while. but we were glad to see chris when he got home!
he had stopped at his mom and dad's to spend the night so he could break up the driving time and dee had got this for mckinlee:

sunday we had such a nice speaker at the meeting. at one point he read 1Corinthians 2:16 about "the mind of Christ" and he said anytime we read something Jesus did or said, we should ask ourselves: why did he do that? and what does it teach us?
doing that will help us become spiritual people and develop the "mind of Christ."
i just really liked that point and am going to try to do that more.
since i've been using my new origins regime (which i will review soon) and loving it, i decided to also try their sunless tanning lotion. i had read several reviews on-line of this product where people said the smell was wonderful and it absolutely did not streak or look orange.
now the smell of sunless tanning products has never bothered me, but i know it does for a lot of people. the streaking and looking orange are much more of a problem for me! well, i used this once so far and let me tell you...run to your nearest origins counter and pick up this little turquoise bottle of goodness!
for our anniversary, chris and i rarely buy each other anything. we usually just set an amount to spend for both of us and then either go shopping together or pick up things we've been wanting on our own. maybe not the most romantic set-up, but it works for us and we're both happy with what we get!
so i knew i wanted a new scent for this spring/summer and decided (after being engulfed in a sea of fragrance at macy's, alternating with the jar of coffee beans) that i would try this:
